Inspired by organic shapes and lines found in nature, my current work uses linoprints to explore depth through layering and shadows. I seek to draw the viewer into a moment of mindful meditation. Through these images, I hope to offer a quiet respite - a blend of calming peace and subtle joy.
leilani pierson is an award-winning mixed-media fiber artist and printmaker, free-lance writer, designer, and instructor. She has written several articles for craft publications over the years. She lives with her creative husband, adventurous college kiddos, and their sweet rescue dog + cats in Chicago.
